Animations by Terry Gilliam may still exist, but were only made for some of the episodes of series 2.
The DVD released 2005-2006 did not use the proper numbering; it actually contains episodes 1-2, 5-6, and 9-13 of series 1 (episode 4 was only recovered later).

1 - In many areas except for London, the first episode was accidentally switched with the Boxing Day special and shown on 26-12-1967 instead.
2 - An abridged, 25 minute version from 1986 also exists in which David Jason has been cut out of the programme.
3 - Audio exists for these episodes.
4 - Only one regular episode from the second series exists, number 4, but it is sometimes erroneously listed as episode 2.
5. Episode 4 of series 1 survives in a slightly abridged form, in which it was entered for a European prize.
